The P. V. Narasimha Rao Telangana Veterinary University (PVNRTVU) is a state public university in Telangana, India, dedicated to higher education, research and extension in veterinary science, animal husbandry, fisheries and allied disciplines. The university is headquartered in the Rajendranagar area of Ranga Reddy district, on the outskirts of Hyderabad. It is named after P. V. Narasimha Rao, the former Prime Minister of India who hailed from the Telangana region.

Veterinary education in the Telugu-speaking regions was historically conducted under composite agricultural universities.
