Netaji Subhas Open University (NSOU) is a state open university based in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. Established by the Government of West Bengal, it is named after Indian nationalist leader Subhas Chandra Bose. Background
Netaji Subhas Open University was set up to widen access to higher education in West Bengal, particularly for working professionals, women, and learners in remote areas who could not attend conventional residential universities.
