Meenakshi Seshadri is an Indian actress and trained Bharatanatyam dancer who appeared in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu cinema, principally between 1983 and 1996. Meenakshi Seshadri won the Eve's Weekly Miss India title in 1981 before entering films. Her formal training in Bharatanatyam shaped her dance-oriented song picturisations, which directors frequently used to highlight classical or semi-classical choreography within mainstream song-and-dance formats. Damini (1993)
Composed by Nadeem–Shravan with lyrics by Sameer, the soundtrack of Damini featured the popular numbers "Bin Sajan Jhula Jhulu" and "Gawah Hain Chand Tare Gawah Hain", the latter rendered by Kumar Sanu and Alka Yagnik.
Ghayal (1990)
