Karan Kundrra is an Indian television actor, host, and reality show personality, best known for portraying Arjun Punj in the Zee TV soap opera Kitani Mohabbat Hai and for his appearances in several Indian reality shows. He has worked predominantly in Hindi-language television since the late 2000s.

Background

Kundrra was born in Jalandhar, Punjab, and was raised in a Punjabi family. He pursued higher education in management before transitioning to a career in television. He moved to Mumbai to enter the entertainment industry, beginning with modelling assignments before securing acting roles.

Kundrra rose to prominence with his lead role as Arjun Punj in Kitani Mohabbat Hai, which aired on NDTV Imagine and was later continued on Zee TV as Kitani Mohabbat Hai 2. The role established him as a recognisable face in Indian daily soaps.

He subsequently appeared in shows such as Kuch Toh Log Kahenge, where he played Dr. Ashutosh, and featured in fiction series including Dil Hi Toh Hai and Yeh Kahan Aa Gaye Hum.

Hosting and reality television

Kundrra hosted multiple seasons of Gumrah: End of Innocence on Channel V India, a crime-based youth dramatised series, and the dating-themed reality show MTV Love School. He also anchored MTV Roadies as a gang leader.

In 2021, he participated as a contestant in the fifteenth season of Bigg Boss on Colors TV, where he finished as one of the finalists. His participation significantly broadened his public recognition.
