Daljeet Kaur (1953 – 17 November 2022) was an Indian actress who worked predominantly in Punjabi cinema. Over the course of her career, she appeared in more than 70 films, beginning with her debut in Daaj (1976).

Background
Born in 1953, Kaur was raised in Siliguri in West Bengal. She pursued her higher education at the Lady Shri Ram College for Women in Delhi, one of the constituent colleges of the University of Delhi. Before turning to cinema, she was an active sportsperson and represented at the national level in both kabaddi and hockey.
Kaur subsequently trained in acting at the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) in Pune, the country's principal film school established under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
Career
Kaur made her screen debut in 1976 with the Punjabi film Daaj. She went on to build a substantial career in Punjabi cinema, accumulating credits in over 70 films during her years as an actress.
Death
Daljeet Kaur died on 17 November 2022.
