Career
Ansiba Hassan made her film debut as Anju, the elder daughter of Georgekutty and Rani, in Drishyam, a Malayalam-language thriller released in 2013. The film became one of the highest-grossing Malayalam productions of its time and was subsequently remade into several Indian languages, including Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, and Sinhala. The character of Anju is central to the plot, as the events surrounding her trigger the story's principal conflict.
She reprised the role of Anju in the sequel, Drishyam 2 (2021), again directed by Jeethu Joseph, which premiered on Amazon Prime Video. The sequel revisits the Salgaonkar family several years after the events of the first film.
