Agastya Nanda was born to Shweta Bachchan Nanda, an author and columnist, and Nikhil Nanda, an industrialist associated with the Escorts group. Through his mother, he is the grandson of actors Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan, and the nephew of actor Abhishek Bachchan. His sister, Navya Naveli Nanda, is an entrepreneur.

He pursued his higher education abroad before entering the film industry.

The Archies (2023)

The Archies, an Indian adaptation of the Archie Comics set in the fictional Anglo-Indian hill town of Riverdale in the 1960s, marked Agastya Nanda's screen debut. He portrayed Archie Andrews, the lead role.
