Teaching is organised through departments dealing with subjects such as accounting, business economics, finance, marketing, human resource management, and business statistics.
The college functions on the main Osmania University campus in Hyderabad, sharing facilities such as the central library, hostels, sports infrastructure, and academic services with other constituent colleges of the university.
As part of one of India's largest public university systems, the college has played a role in producing graduates who have entered academia, the corporate sector, public administration, and entrepreneurship in the Telugu-speaking regions and beyond. It is among the long-standing institutions offering structured commerce and management education in the Hyderabad–Secunderabad region.
