Topiwala National Medical College (often abbreviated TNMC) and the attached Bai Yamunabai Laxman Nair Charitable Hospital (commonly referred to as BYL Nair Hospital or simply Nair Hospital) form a publicly funded medical teaching institution and tertiary care hospital located at Mumbai Central in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. The institution is one of the four major medical colleges run by the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (also known as the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation, BMC) and is affiliated to the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS), Nashik.

The college imparts undergraduate (MBBS) and postgraduate (MD, MS, and various super-specialty and diploma) medical education, along with paramedical and allied courses. The hospital functions as a tertiary referral centre for patients from across Mumbai and neighbouring regions of Maharashtra, providing free or highly subsidised treatment as part of the BMC's public health network.
The hospital is named after Bai Yamunabai Laxman Nair, in whose memory a substantial endowment was made for its establishment. The medical college component, Topiwala National Medical College, was founded later as the academic wing attached to the hospital, becoming part of the BMC's growing system of teaching hospitals that also includes Seth GS Medical College and KEM Hospital, Grant Government Medical College and Sir JJ Group of Hospitals (state-run), and Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical College and General Hospital (Sion Hospital).
The campus is situated near Mumbai Central railway station, in close proximity to the Maratha Mandir area and the Mumbai Central bus terminus. The hospital houses departments covering most major clinical and surgical specialties, including general medicine, general surgery, obstetrics and gynaecology, paediatrics, orthopaedics, ophthalmology, ENT, dermatology, psychiatry, anaesthesiology, radiology and pathology, along with super-specialty units in fields such as cardiology, neurology, neurosurgery, plastic surgery and urology. The institution also operates a dental wing, and is associated with the Government Dental College and Hospital located on the same campus complex.

BYL Nair Hospital is among the principal public hospitals serving central Mumbai, handling a large outpatient and inpatient load drawn from the densely populated neighbourhoods of South and Central Mumbai. Together with KEM Hospital and Sion Hospital, it forms the backbone of municipal tertiary healthcare in the city. The institution has played a significant role during public health emergencies in Mumbai, including outbreaks and the COVID-19 pandemic, when it was used as a designated treatment facility.
