His early screen work included supporting roles in Hindi television and films before he moved into long-form web content.
Vyas has performed in several stage productions in Mumbai, including works staged at venues such as Prithvi Theatre and the National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA). He has been associated with productions exploring contemporary urban themes, and has also written for the stage.
Vyas's breakthrough came with Permanent Roommates (2014), a TVF web series in which he played Mikesh, a non-resident Indian returning to marry his long-distance girlfriend, played by Nidhi Singh. The show is widely cited as a defining title in the early growth of Indian web content. He followed this with TVF Tripling (2016 onwards), a road-trip series in which he plays Chandan Sharma alongside Amol Parashar and Maanvi Gagroo. Vyas also co-wrote episodes of the show.

Vyas married television actor Ekta Kaul in 2018 in a ceremony held in Jammu. The couple have a son.
Vyas is associated with the early wave of Indian web series that helped establish original streaming content as a mainstream entertainment format in India. His role in Permanent Roommates is often referenced in discussions of the rise of digital-first Indian storytelling, and he is regarded as one of the actors who transitioned successfully between theatre, web and film without depending on conventional film-industry pathways.
