The Mahindra Group is an Indian multinational conglomerate headquartered in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Founded in 1945, the group has interests spanning automobiles, farm equipment, information technology, financial services, hospitality, real estate, logistics, aerospace, defence, and renewable energy. It is among the largest industrial houses in India and is best known internationally for its utility vehicles and tractors.

The group traces its origins to Mahindra & Mohammed, a steel trading firm established in Ludhiana in 1945 by the brothers Kailash Chandra Mahindra and Jagdish Chandra Mahindra together with Malik Ghulam Muhammad. After the Partition of India in 1947, Ghulam Muhammad migrated to Pakistan, where he later became the country's first Finance Minister and eventually Governor-General. The firm was subsequently renamed Mahindra & Mahindra.
The company began its automotive journey by assembling the Willys Jeep under licence in India, an association that shaped its long-running expertise in utility vehicles and four-wheel-drive platforms.
Mahindra & Mahindra Limited is the flagship listed entity, manufacturing SUVs, pickups, commercial vehicles, and tractors. Its tractor business operates in markets across Asia, Africa, the Americas, and Europe.
Tech Mahindra provides IT services and consulting, with a strong presence in telecommunications and enterprise digital services.
Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services Limited offers vehicle and rural finance, while Mahindra Insurance Brokers and Mahindra Manulife provide allied services.
Mahindra Holidays & Resorts India operates the Club Mahindra timeshare network. Mahindra Lifespace Developers is the group's real estate and integrated cities arm.
The group has been led by members of the Mahindra family across generations. Keshub Mahindra served as chairman for several decades before being succeeded by his nephew Anand Mahindra. The flagship Mahindra & Mahindra has had professional managing directors and CEOs in addition to family chairmanship.
