Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University (MRSPTU) is a state public university located in Bathinda, in the Malwa region of Punjab, India. The university offers programmes in engineering, technology, management, pharmacy, applied sciences, and allied disciplines, and also affiliates technical and professional colleges across Punjab. It is named after Maharaja Ranjit Singh, the founder of the Sikh Empire.

The university was established by the Government of Punjab to expand technical and professional education in the southern districts of the state. Bathinda, the seat of the university, is one of the largest cities of the Malwa region and serves as an emerging educational and industrial hub, home to institutions such as the All India Institute of Medical Sciences Bathinda and the Central University of Punjab.
