Krish Jagarlamudi, popularly known as Krish, is an Indian film director and screenwriter who works primarily in Telugu cinema. He is recognised for blending mainstream commercial storytelling with strong nativist and historical themes, and is regarded as one of the leading filmmakers of his generation in the Telugu industry.

Krish hails from Andhra Pradesh and entered the film industry as an assistant before moving into independent direction. He developed an early reputation for socially aware scripts that drew from rural Andhra settings, contemporary politics, and Indian history, while still working within mainstream studio frameworks.
Krish made his directorial debut with Gamyam (2008), a road film starring Allari Naresh and Sharwanand. The film was a critical and commercial success, won state and national recognition, and established Krish as a director willing to experiment with form and narrative. Its success was followed by Vedam (2010), a multi-narrative drama featuring Allu Arjun, Anushka Shetty, Manchu Manoj and Manoj Bajpayee, which further consolidated his standing.
He directed Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum (2012) with Rana Daggubati, followed by Kanche (2015), a period war drama set against the Second World War starring Varun Tej and Pragya Jaiswal. Kanche received the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Telugu.
In 2017, Krish directed Gautamiputra Satakarni, the 100th film of Nandamuri Balakrishna, depicting the life of the Satavahana emperor. The same year, he made Vedam's thematic counterpart through other projects and continued exploring period subjects.
Krish was the original director of Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi (2019), a Hindi-language biographical film on Rani Lakshmibai starring Kangana Ranaut, marking his foray into Bollywood. He has subsequently been associated with bilingual and pan-Indian projects, including the multi-part biographical film on N. T. Rama Rao titled NTR: Kathanayakudu and NTR: Mahanayakudu (2019), starring Nandamuri Balakrishna as the late actor-politician.
