The Islamic University of Science & Technology (IUST) is a state public university located at Awantipora in the Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir, India. Established by an Act of the Jammu and Kashmir Legislature, the university is funded by the Government of Jammu and Kashmir and offers programmes across science, technology, management, humanities, and Islamic studies.

The university was set up to expand access to higher education in the Kashmir Valley, particularly in southern Kashmir, and to provide programmes in professional and technical fields alongside traditional academic disciplines. Its campus is situated along the Srinagar–Jammu National Highway in Awantipora, a town of historical importance in the valley.
