Gauahar Khan is an Indian actress, model and television personality, known primarily for her work in Hindi films and television. She gained widespread recognition after winning the seventh season of the reality show Bigg Boss in 2014, and has since worked across films, web series and stage shows.

Gauahar Khan was born on 23 August 1983 in Pune, into a Pathan Muslim family. Her elder sister, Nigaar Khan, is also an actress and was a contestant on Bigg Boss in an earlier season. Gauahar began her career in modelling, and was a finalist at the Femina Miss India contest in 2002, where she was placed among the top contestants.
After her Femina Miss India placement in 2002, Gauahar pursued modelling and walked the ramp for several Indian designers. She made her acting debut in supporting roles in Hindi cinema in the late 2000s.
Gauahar appeared in Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year (2009), directed by Shimit Amin and produced by Yash Raj Films, starring Ranbir Kapoor. She subsequently played roles in Game (2011) and Ishaqzaade (2012), where she portrayed the character Chand Bibi opposite Arjun Kapoor. Her later films include Fever (2016) and Begum Jaan (2017).
Gauahar entered the seventh season of Bigg Boss on Colors TV in 2013 and was declared the winner of the season in early 2014. She subsequently hosted and appeared in several television shows, including stints as a judge on dance and reality formats. She also took part in Khatron Ke Khiladi, the Indian adaptation of Fear Factor, and was associated with the dance reality show India's Raw Star.
Gauahar has appeared in digital productions, including ALTBalaji's Tandav (2021), directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and released on Amazon Prime Video, where she featured alongside an ensemble cast including Saif Ali Khan and Dimple Kapadia.
Gauahar Khan married musician and choreographer Zaid Darbar, son of music composer Ismail Darbar, on 25 December 2020 in Mumbai. The couple's first child, a son, was born in May 2023.
Gauahar Khan is among the relatively few Bigg Boss winners who have continued to maintain an active presence across films, mainstream television and digital platforms.
