The principal cast across the initial seasons consists of four women connected to Bollywood through marriage or family ties:
From the third season, the cast was expanded to include additional members, including Kalyani Saha Chawla and Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, daughter of actor Rishi Kapoor.
The first season, comprising eight episodes, was released on 27 November 2020. It introduced the four lead cast members, depicting their friendships, family lives, social events, and professional pursuits, with appearances by industry figures including Karan Johar, Shah Rukh Khan, Gauri Khan, Maheep's daughter Shanaya Kapoor, and Bhavana's daughter Ananya Panday.
The second season was released on 2 September 2022. It continued with the same principal cast and featured travel segments, including a trip to Doha, alongside extended cameos from Bollywood personalities.
The third season premiered on Netflix on 18 October 2024 with an expanded ensemble. This instalment featured new entrants joining the original quartet and included segments shot internationally.
The series has attracted polarised commentary in the Indian media. Reviewers have discussed it as an example of Indian reality programming centred on lifestyle and celebrity culture, while critics have debated its portrayal of privilege, scripted-feeling moments, and depictions of friendship dynamics. Despite mixed critical response, it generated significant social media conversation around its episodes and cast members upon each season's release.
The show is among the early Indian originals on Netflix to adopt the structured-reality format focused on the lifestyles of urban socialites linked to the entertainment industry. Its commissioning reflected the streaming platform's expansion into unscripted Indian content beyond fiction series and films. The programme has also functioned as a vehicle introducing or re-introducing star families to a younger digital audience, with several star children making appearances during its run.
