Andheri West is an elevated rapid transit station on Line 2A (the Yellow Line) of the Mumbai Metro, located in the Andheri West locality of Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. The station serves as a key interchange point for commuters travelling between the western suburbs and is part of the network operated under the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA).

The station is part of the Dahisar East – D. N. Nagar corridor, designated as Line 2A of the Mumbai Metro. Line 2A was conceived as part of Mumbai's broader metro master plan to decongest the Western Express Highway and the suburban railway corridor by providing an alternative north–south rapid transit option through the western suburbs.
Andheri West station is situated in the densely populated Andheri West neighbourhood, an area known for its commercial establishments, residential complexes, and proximity to the entertainment industry hubs of Mumbai. The station provides connectivity to nearby road networks and to other transit services in the area, including BEST bus routes and the Mumbai Suburban Railway's Western Line at Andheri railway station.
Line 2A was developed by the MMRDA as the second operational line of the Mumbai Metro after Line 1 (Versova–Andheri–Ghatkopar). The corridor was opened in phases, with the first phase between Dahisar East and Dahanukarwadi commencing operations in April 2022, followed by the extension covering the remaining section to D. N. Nagar, which became operational in January 2023.
The station is served by trains operating along Line 2A. Standard metro facilities include automatic fare collection gates, ticket counters, escalators, lifts for accessibility, and platform screen doors. Operations on the line are managed by Maha Mumbai Metro Operation Corporation Limited (MMMOCL).
By offering rapid transit through the western suburbs, the station contributes to easing road congestion in Andheri, one of Mumbai's busiest junctions. It complements existing infrastructure such as the Western Express Highway, the Mumbai Suburban Railway, and Line 1 of the Mumbai Metro.
