Parashar studied engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay, after which he moved towards a career in performance. Before establishing himself as an actor, he was active in theatre and modelling, working with productions in Mumbai and appearing in television commercials.
Parashar made his feature film debut in Hum Tum Aur Shabana (2011), directed by Sachin Yardi. He continued to take on supporting roles in films and short formats while also performing in stage productions.
His career gained significant momentum with Tripling, first released by The Viral Fever in 2016. Created by Sameer Saxena and written by Sumeet Vyas, the series cast Parashar as Chitvan, the youngest of three siblings who reunite for a road trip.
