Overview
Zane Edward Green (born 11 October 1996) is a Namibian cricketer who plays for the Namibian national side. A left-handed batsman, he is primarily deployed as a wicket-keeper.
Green made his senior debut for Namibia in September 2013, at the age of 16. His early entry into the senior set-up reflected his promise behind the stumps as well as his ability with the bat at junior level.
As a left-handed batsman who keeps wicket, Green offers Namibia a dual role in the team's batting and fielding combinations. Wicket-keeper batsmen are typically valued for their contributions in the middle and lower order, in addition to their work behind the stumps during the opposition's innings.
