Overview

William Jan Pucovski (born 2 February 1998) is an Australian former cricketer who represented Victoria in domestic cricket and went on to play one Test match for Australia.

Pucovski made his List A debut for Cricket Australia XI against Pakistan during their tour of Australia on 10 January 2017. Shortly thereafter, he made his first-class debut for Victoria in the 2016–17 Sheffield Shield season on 1 February 2017.

He earned his Test cap for Australia in 2021, becoming the country's 460th Test cricketer in a match against India. On debut, he scored 62 in the first innings and 10 in the second. A shoulder injury sustained while fielding during the match prevented him from making further Test appearances.

Over the course of his career, Pucovski experienced at least 13 known concussion injuries, in addition to mental health challenges. He retired from cricket in 2025 at the age of 27.
