Overview
Vinod Pandey is an Indian politician associated with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He has served as a National Executive Member of the party and is a former President of the BJP Kisan Morcha. He has also held the position of National Secretary of the BJP and was a member of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Council.
Pandey hails from the Basti district of Uttar Pradesh, though his political and professional activities have been centred largely in Gorakhpur. He began his career as a lawyer in the civil court before entering full-time political work, and is known within the party as an active orator.
In 2014, Pandey was appointed as the state in-charge for Jharkhand during the Lok Sabha elections, taking on organisational responsibilities for the party's campaign in that state. Through his roles in the Kisan Morcha and the wider party organisation, he has been involved in outreach work concerning farmers and rural constituencies.
