Career

Varun Tej made his acting debut in 2014 with the film Mukunda. He drew critical attention the following year for his performance in the war drama Kanche (2015), directed by Krish, which was widely acclaimed by critics.

He achieved a major breakthrough with the romantic drama Fidaa (2017), which was both a critical and commercial success and helped establish him as a leading actor in Telugu cinema. He followed this with the romantic film Tholi Prema (2018) and the action drama Gaddalakonda Ganesh (2019).
