Overview
Uttarakhand Ayurved University is a public state university located in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India. It was established in 2009 by the Government of Uttarakhand through the Uttarakhand Ayurved University Act, 2009.
The university is dedicated to the teaching and research of Ayurveda. In addition to Ayurveda, it covers other disciplines under the AYUSH framework, namely yoga, naturopathy, Unani, Siddha medicine and homoeopathy.
Sunil Kumar Joshi was appointed vice chancellor of the university in 2020.
