Overview
The University of Rajasthan, informally known as Rajasthan University (RU), is a public state university located in Jaipur, Rajasthan. It was established in 1947 through an Act of the State Legislative Assembly and is regarded as a prominent institution of higher learning in the region.
The university operates as one of the largest university systems in Rajasthan, with a substantial student population spread across its campuses and affiliated colleges.
