Thomas William Maxwell Latham (born 2 April 1992) is a New Zealand international cricketer who serves as the Test captain of the New Zealand cricket team. Primarily a top-order batsman, he also keeps wicket. He is the son of former New Zealand cricketer Rod Latham.
Latham began his domestic career with Canterbury, making his first-class debut against Central Districts in the Plunket Shield in 2010. He was selected for the One-Day International series against Zimbabwe in 2012 and made his ODI debut on 3 February 2012. He went on to make his Test debut against India in February 2014.
He is the eighth New Zealand player to score 10,000 international runs and is among the country's leading run-scorers across formats. He holds the record for the most Test centuries by a New Zealand opening batsman.
Latham was a member of the New Zealand side that won the 2019–2021 ICC World Test Championship. He was also part of the New Zealand squads that finished as runners-up in the Cricket World Cup finals of 2015 and 2019, and in the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy.
