The Telangana State Police Academy (TSPA) is the apex training institution for police personnel of the state of Telangana, India. It conducts induction-level, in-service, and specialised training for officers and constabulary of the Telangana State Police, and is operated under the Home Department of the Government of Telangana.

Overview
The academy serves as the principal centre for the professional formation of police officers recruited to the Telangana State Police, including Sub-Inspectors, Reserve Sub-Inspectors, and other ranks. It also conducts refresher and specialised courses on subjects such as investigation, cyber crime, forensic science, law, weapons handling, drill, physical training, and human rights.
Background
Following the bifurcation of the erstwhile state of Andhra Pradesh and the formation of Telangana on 2 June 2014, the police forces of the two successor states were reorganised. The Telangana State Police Academy was established to cater to the training requirements of the new state's police force, taking on the responsibilities that the combined state's training institutions had previously discharged for the Telangana region.
