Tamim Iqbal Khan (Bengali: তামিম ইকবাল খান; born 20 March 1989) is a Bangladeshi cricket administrator and former international cricketer. A left-handed opening batter, he represented the Bangladesh national cricket team from 2007 to 2023, and served as the side's One Day International (ODI) captain from 2020 to 2023. He is regarded as one of the most prominent figures in Bangladeshi cricket of his generation.

Background
Tamim Iqbal hails from a cricketing family in Bangladesh and rose through age-group cricket before being inducted into the senior national side. He established himself as a top-order opener known for an attacking approach against fast bowling.
