Tahira Kashyap Khurrana

Kashyap was born on January 21st, 1983. She's an Indian author, filmmaker, and cancer mindfulness advocate. Kashyap, who hitched to her school-time boyfriend, Ayushmann Khurrana. She's more popular and noticeable for her ingenuous narrating and promotion of almost all women’s health.

Early Life and Education
In Chandigarh, India, Tahira was born. She completed her tutoring at Yadavindra Public School, Mohali, and went to Punjab University to earn a bachelor’s degree in mass communication and then pursued a master’s degree in the same. She moreover served as a professor and headed the Mass Communication department at Mithibai College, Mumbai. And after that she turned to writing and filmmaking.

Career
In 2011, Tahira began her journey as an author with the novel I Promise... A Story of Love and Deceit. In 2015, she moreover worked as a co-author in the novel named Cracking the Code: My Journey in Bollywood, which was with her sweet spouse, Ayushmann Khurrana. Various books of hers are Souled Out and The 12 Commandments of Being a Woman.
Apart from this, she also started filmmaking and made her directorial debut in 2017 with a short film titled Toffee, which was well received at various film festivals. She directed a feature film titled Sharmaji Ki Beti in 2024, about the experiences of women in India's urban setting.

Personal Life
In 2008, she tied the knot with a previous radio jockey and video jockey turned performing artist Ayushmann Khurrana. The perfect duo has two children, a son and a daughter. In most of the interviews, they have shared beautiful college-time memories about the whole journey from childhood to parenthood and balancing out personal and professional lives.

Health and Advocacy
When it comes to Tahira’s health, in the year 2018 she was diagnosed with stage 0 breast cancer named carcinoma in situ (DCIS). She took the precautions and underwent the treatment and during that juncture of time, she became a vocal advocate for cancer awareness and talked about the importance of regular checkups, screenings, and early detection. 

And on this year's World Health Day, she announced that her breast cancer had backslid after a long time. She’s professionally active, in spite of undergoing cancer treatment. On Friday she made a public appearance at a fashion event in Mumbai, which was eventually an inspiration to many.
