Overview

Swastika Mukherjee (born 13 December 1980) is an Indian actress who works primarily in Bengali and Hindi films and television. She is the daughter of the actor Santu Mukhopadhyay.

Mukherjee began her career on television with the Bengali serial Devdasi, before making her feature film debut in Hemanter Pakhi (2001). She played her first leading role in Mastan (2004), opposite Jeet, and went on to appear in a range of Bengali productions. She made her Hindi film debut with Mumbai Cutting (2008).

Over the course of her career, Mukherjee has received several honours, including four Filmfare Awards East, with three wins and five nominations in the Best Actress category. She has also been recognised with a WBFJA Award, an Anandalok Award and a Kalakar Award.
