Overview
Suresh Paswan, also known as Satish Paswan, is an Indian politician serving as a Member of the Jharkhand Legislative Assembly representing the Deoghar Assembly constituency. He won the 2024 Jharkhand Legislative Assembly election from this seat.
Earlier in his political career, Paswan represented the Deoghar Assembly constituency in the undivided Bihar Legislative Assembly. He won the seat in the 1995 Bihar Legislative Assembly election and again in the 2000 Bihar Legislative Assembly election.
Paswan also served as a minister during the First Hemant Soren ministry in Jharkhand, holding the portfolios of Tourism and Urban Development.
