Overview
Sureshbhau Dagadu Khade, commonly known as Suresh Khade, is an Indian politician affiliated with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He represents the Miraj constituency in the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly and has been elected to the Assembly four times.
Khade serves as a Cabinet Minister in the Government of Maharashtra under the ministry led by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. He holds the Labour portfolio and also functions as the Guardian Minister of Sangli district. Earlier, in the cabinet led by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, he served as the Minister of Social Justice.
He retained the Miraj seat in the 2019 Maharashtra Legislative Assembly election as a BJP candidate. Through successive terms in the Assembly, he has been associated with legislative work pertaining to his constituency in western Maharashtra.
