Overview
Suresh Bapuraoji Deshmukh is an Indian politician who has served as a Member of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly from the Wardha constituency. He was formerly associated with the Indian National Congress.
Deshmukh is the son of Bapurao Deshmukh, who was also active in public life. His political career has been linked principally with the Wardha region of Maharashtra.
In the 2009 Maharashtra Legislative Assembly election, Deshmukh contested from the Wardha constituency as an independent candidate and won the seat by a large margin.
