Overview
Surbhi Tiwari (born 19 October 1980) is an Indian television actress who has worked in Hindi-language serials. Over the course of her career, she has appeared in several long-running daily soaps on Indian television.
Tiwari is known for her appearances in television shows such as Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii, Shagun, Kumkum – Ek Pyara Sa Bandhan, Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo and Yahaan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli. These serials, which aired on mainstream Hindi general entertainment channels, form a significant part of her body of work on the small screen.
She was also cast in Tota Weds Maina and portrayed the role of Kanchan Kothari in Diya Aur Baati Hum. In addition, she made a cameo appearance in Do Dil Bandhe Ek Dori Se. Through these roles, she has worked across a range of family dramas typical of Indian prime-time television.
On the personal front, Tiwari was married to Praveen Kumar Sinha, and the couple subsequently moved towards a divorce.
