Overview

Stuart Matsikenyeri (born 3 May 1983) is a former Zimbabwean cricketer who represented his country across all formats of the game. A right-handed batsman, he was often deployed at the top of the order and usually opened the batting for Zimbabwe.

In addition to his batting role, Matsikenyeri contributed as a part-time right-arm off-break bowler, providing his captains with a useful supplementary option. He was also regarded as a sharp gully fielder, and his close-catching skills added value to the side beyond his work with the bat.

Through his career in international cricket, Matsikenyeri featured in Tests, One Day Internationals and Twenty20 Internationals for Zimbabwe, gaining experience as an all-format cricketer during a notable phase of the country's cricketing history.
