Srividya (24 July 1953 – 19 October 2006) was an Indian actress who worked predominantly in Malayalam and Tamil cinema, with additional appearances in Telugu, Kannada and Hindi films. Over a career spanning four decades, she acted in more than 800 films and came to be regarded as one of the most accomplished performers of South Indian cinema, known for the restraint and subtlety she brought to a wide range of emotional roles.
