Overview
Shri Rawatpura Sarkar University (SRU) is a state private university situated in the village of Dhaneli in Raipur district, Chhattisgarh, India. It was established in 2018 by the Shri Rawatpura Sarkar Lok Kalyan Trust under the Chhattisgarh Private Universities (Establishment and Operation) (Amendment) Act, 2018.
The foundation stone for the university's campus at Dhaneli was laid on 11 October 2018. The institution functions as part of the broader educational initiatives of its sponsoring trust within the state of Chhattisgarh.
SRU offers diploma, undergraduate and postgraduate programmes across a range of disciplines. Its academic offerings span engineering and technology, science, arts, pharmacy, fashion and interior design, management and commerce, library science, education, yoga and naturopathy, and journalism and mass communication.
