Shanaya Kapoor, who was born on 3 November, 1999, is an Indian on-screen character and model in the Indian cinema. The bequest of the Kapoor family is in the hands of the unused era of their blood and the youthful star girl of the Hindi cinema film performing artist and maker Sanjay Kapoor and the Bollywood Wives on-screen character and adornments designer Maheep Kapoor’s girl. She, moreover, has relatives who are performing artists, such as Anil Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor.
Early Life and Family
In Mumbai, she's born and brought up. She completed her schooling at Ecole Mondiale World School in Mumbai. For higher studies, she went to London and studied LLB at the London School of Economics and Political Science. She has also completed her diploma course in the International Baccalaureate program at Singapore International School.
In the initial stage of entering Hindi cinema, she served as an assistant director in the film of Sridevi’s elder daughter and her cousin Janhvi Kapoor, named Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl. She shares a good bond with the Bollywood Wives daughters, such as Ananya Panday and Suhana Khan.
Career
She has signed many films and is working on films such as Aankhon ki Gustaakhiyan, in which she’s working with 12th Fail actor Vikrant Massey. She has signed for a Dharma production movie named Bedhadak, which comes under the banner of KJo’s movies. On Valentine’s Day 2026, one more movie of hers is releasing, which is Tu Yaa Main, and many more are in the pipeline.
As for now, she’s being talked about more often for her OTT debut in the web series named Student of the Year 3, which is being directed by Reema Maya and produced by Karan Johar. In this series, as per the sources, this time she’s playing a double role, which will eventually give her invaluable insights and also serve as a stepping stone towards her own acting career. On 20th April, 2025, she’s shooting for the sixth episode of this series, and it will be streamed on JioHotstar.
