Overview

Saurabh Raaj Jain is an Indian television actor known for his work in Hindi mythological and family dramas. He gained widespread recognition for his portrayal of Krishna in the television series Mahabharat (2013–2014), a role that was widely regarded as a turning point in his career and brought him nationwide acclaim.

Jain has also been associated with other prominent mythological roles on Indian television. His portrayal of Vishnu in Devon Ke Dev...Mahadev and his depiction of Shiva in Mahakali — Anth Hi Aarambh Hai were both received with critical appreciation. These performances established him as one of the recognisable faces in the mythological genre on Hindi general entertainment channels.

Beyond mythological dramas, Jain has appeared in several popular television shows, including Kasamh Se, Uttaran, Chandragupta Maurya and Patiala Babes. He has also participated in reality television, featuring as a contestant on the dance-based show Nach Baliye 9 (2019) and the stunt-based show Khatron Ke Khiladi 11 (2021).

In addition to his work in fiction and reality television, Jain was associated with the Zee News programme DNA, from which he stepped away on 23 June 2024.
