Richie Berrington

Overview

Richard Douglas Berrington, born 3 April 1987, is a Scottish cricketer who has represented Scotland across multiple formats of the international game.

Berrington first appeared on the international stage as part of the Scotland squad at the 2006 Under-19 Cricket World Cup, held in Sri Lanka. Since then, he has gone on to play first-class, One Day International and List A cricket for the national side.

In June 2022, Berrington was appointed captain of the Scotland national team. The role passed to him following the decision of Kyle Coetzer to step down from the leadership of the side.
