Overview
Ravi Jhankal is an Indian actor who has worked across television, stage and film. He is a graduate of the National School of Drama, Delhi, and has been associated with Surnai, a Mumbai-based theatre group.
Jhankal is particularly known for his collaborations with filmmaker Shyam Benegal, having appeared in films such as Welcome to Sajjanpur (2008) and Well Done Abba (2010). His work spans both mainstream and parallel cinema, alongside continued involvement in theatre.
On television, he is recognised for portraying former Prime Minister P. V. Narasimha Rao in the series Pradhanmantri, a docu-drama on the heads of government of India.
