Randeep Rai (born 8 June 1991) is an Indian television actor known for his work in Hindi-language general entertainment serials. He came to wider notice with his portrayal of Sameer Maheshwari in Sony TV's Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai, and has subsequently appeared in serials on Colors TV and Sony TV.

Career

Rai began his acting career in 2014 with the role of Kabir Scindia in O Gujariya: Badlein Chal Duniya, which aired on Channel V. The serial provided him with his first lead exposure on Indian television.

He achieved broader recognition portraying Sameer Maheshwari, the male lead, in Sony TV's Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai, a period romance set in the 1990s. The role is generally regarded as his breakthrough performance.

Subsequently, Rai appeared as Anand Rawal in Colors TV's Balika Vadhu 2, the follow-up to the long-running social drama Balika Vadhu. He later played Raghav Arora in Sony TV's Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2.
