Randeep Hooda (born 20 August 1976) is an Indian actor who works predominantly in Hindi cinema. He is known for his versatility and for the physical transformations he undertakes for his roles. Career
Early work
Hooda made his Hindi film debut in Mira Nair's Monsoon Wedding (2001). The early phase of his career was marked by limited prominence before he found wider visibility through gangster and ensemble dramas later in the decade.
Breakthrough and supporting roles
Hooda's career reached a turning point with the gangster film Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai (2010). He continued to gain attention with supporting roles in Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster (2011), Jannat 2 (2012), Jism 2 (2012), Cocktail (2012) and Heroine (2012).
Lead roles
He starred in leading roles in Murder 3 (2013), John Day (2013) and Rang Rasiya (2014). For Rang Rasiya, he was nominated for the Filmfare Award for Best Actor.
