Rajmata Smt. Devendra Kumari Singhdeo Government Medical College, Ambikapur is a state government medical college located in Ambikapur, the headquarters of Surguja district in the northern part of Chhattisgarh, India. The institution was established to expand access to undergraduate medical education and tertiary healthcare in the Surguja division, a largely tribal region of the state. It is named in honour of Rajmata Devendra Kumari Singhdeo of the erstwhile Surguja royal family.

Background
Ambikapur serves as the principal urban centre of the Surguja division and acts as a referral hub for surrounding districts including Balrampur, Surajpur, Jashpur and Koriya. Before the establishment of a dedicated medical college, complex tertiary care needs in the region were largely met by referrals to Raipur, Bilaspur or institutions in neighbouring states. The college offers the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) programme. Admission to the undergraduate course is conducted through the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG), with seats allocated under the all-India quota and the Chhattisgarh state quota in accordance with rules framed by the Directorate of Medical Education, Chhattisgarh.
