Overview
Priyamvada Singh (born c. 1983) is an Indian media professional and heritage restorer. She spent about a decade working in the television industry in Mumbai before returning to her ancestral home in Rajasthan to take up conservation work.
Singh led the restoration of an ancestral fort in her village, Meja, near Bhilwara in Rajasthan. For the project, she drew upon the traditional skills of the local community, engaging artisans and workers from the surrounding area in the conservation effort.
Alongside the restoration, Singh has been associated with social upliftment initiatives directed at the local community. In recognition of her use of indigenous skills for heritage conservation and her community-focused work, she was conferred the Nari Shakti Puraskar by the Government of India.
