Overview

Prince Narula is an Indian television personality, model and actor known for winning multiple reality shows on Indian television. He rose to prominence after winning MTV Roadies X2 in 2015, and went on to win MTV Splitsvilla 8 the same year and Bigg Boss 9 in 2016, becoming one of the few contestants to win three major Indian reality shows in succession.

Background

Prince Narula was born on 19 November 1990 in Chandigarh into a Punjabi family. Before entering television, he was associated with kabaddi at the school level and worked in modelling. His early television appearances were driven by his interest in fitness and adventure-based formats.

Career

Reality television

Narula first gained nationwide visibility as a contestant on MTV Roadies X2 (also styled Roadies 12) in 2015, which he won under the leadership of gang leader Rannvijay Singha. Soon after, he participated in MTV Splitsvilla 8, where he and his partner Anuki Adikari emerged as the winning couple.

In late 2015, Narula entered the Colors TV reality show Bigg Boss 9, hosted by Salman Khan. He was declared the winner of the season in the finale broadcast in January 2016, defeating Rishabh Sinha. With this victory, he became known as a "triple crown" winner of Indian reality television.

He later returned to the Roadies franchise as a gang leader, appearing across multiple seasons including Roadies Rising, Roadies Xtreme, Roadies Real Heroes, Roadies Revolution, and subsequent seasons, where he mentored contestants alongside other gang leaders such as Rannvijay Singha, Neha Dhupia and Nikhil Chinapa.

Acting and other appearances

Narula has appeared in Indian television fiction, including the role of Raghbir Malhotra in the Star Plus drama Badho Bahu. He has also featured in dance and stunt-based reality formats and music videos, often appearing alongside his wife, actress Yuvika Chaudhary.

Prince Narula met actress Yuvika Chaudhary during their time together on Bigg Boss 9. The couple got married on 12 October 2018 in Mumbai. Their daughter was born in 2023.
