Pratima Devi (born Khairunnisa Suleiman; 1910 – 29 January 1993) was an Indian character actress who worked in the Hindi film industry. Her career spanned several decades, beginning in the 1930s and continuing into the 1980s.
From the early phase of her career, Pratima Devi was cast in motherly roles. Over the years, she became closely associated with this screen persona, appearing as the on-screen mother to many leading stars of her time.
She is best remembered for portraying virtuous and upright mother characters, a type of role that formed the mainstay of her long innings in Hindi cinema.
