Overview

Pankaj Berry (born 8 January 1956) is an Indian film and television actor. He completed his post-graduation from the Department of Indian Theatre, Panjab University, Chandigarh, where he took part in several theatre productions staged by the department.

Berry made his screen debut in a small role in Govind Nihalani's Tamas, in which he played the son of Surekha Sikri's character. His first major break came with the Doordarshan television series Gul Gulshan Gulfaam in 1987. College Girl marked his first appearance in a Bollywood film.

Over the years, he has worked in numerous television serials and films across Hindi cinema and Indian television. He gained wide popularity for his portrayal of Tathacharya in the television series Tenali Rama.
