Overview

Nonkululeko Mlaba (born 27 June 2000) is a South African cricketer. She is a left-arm bowler who employs the slow left-arm orthodox style of spin bowling.

Mlaba made her international debut for the South Africa women's cricket team in September 2019. As a specialist spinner, she contributes to the bowling attack of the national side, with her left-arm orthodox style offering variation alongside seam and other spin options.

Slow left-arm orthodox bowlers, like Mlaba, typically rely on flight, drift and turn to trouble batters, and her inclusion in the South African set-up reflects the role of spin bowling in the women's international game.
