Nithin Sathya (born 9 January 1980) is an Indian actor and film producer who works primarily in Tamil cinema. He made his acting debut in 2003 and is best known for his role in the ensemble sports drama Chennai 600028 directed by Venkat Prabhu, with whom he has continued to be closely associated as both actor and producer.

Career
Early work
Nithin Sathya entered Tamil cinema with Kalatpadai (2003), directed by J. Ramesh. He subsequently appeared in a small role alongside Kamal Haasan in the Tamil comedy Vasool Raja MBBS, directed by Saran. He followed this with an appearance in Ji (2005), starring Ajith Kumar and directed by N. Linguswamy.
Breakthrough and recognition
His breakthrough came with Chennai 600028, directed by Venkat Prabhu, in which he played one of the leads. The ensemble sports drama was well received by critics and established his association with Venkat Prabhu, a close friend and frequent collaborator. He later reprised his role in the sequel, Chennai 600028 II.
In 2007, he played the antagonist — a psychopathic villain — in the critically acclaimed psychological thriller Satham Podathey, written and directed by Vasanth. The film also starred Prithviraj, Padmapriya and Suhasini. The same year, he appeared in Raman Thediya Seethai, written and directed by K. P. Jagannath, and in Pandhayam, directed by S. A. Chandrasekhar, which featured Vijay in a cameo along with Sindhu Tolani.
He went on to feature in the Tamil-language thriller Muthirai (2009), among other films.
Production work
Nithin Sathya served as the executive producer of R. K. Nagar, starring Vaibhav in the lead and produced by Venkat Prabhu. Under his own production house, Shvedh, he produced the film Jarugandi, which was released on 26 October 2018.
