Operations and significance
Nicco Park has been one of the principal organised leisure venues in eastern India and is frequently used for school excursions, family outings and corporate events. It has played a role in establishing the amusement park industry in India and is among the longer-running parks of its kind in the country.
Corporate structure
Nicco Parks & Resorts Limited, the company that owns and operates the park, is listed on Indian stock exchanges. Beyond the Salt Lake property, the company has been associated with consultancy and operation of leisure projects elsewhere in India.
